'I'm a cup of tea in a world of skinny lattes' Rarely was this truer than with the Golborne Restaurant, which is in fact a classic cafe rather than a restaurant. The owner has been here for 38 years and so you can be sure he knows what he's doing by now, and he does it very well, so if you're looking for a traditional caff with honest grub, here it is.
I came here for lunch one Saturday with my wife and 2 children. The food represents the best value for money in the area. We had the kofte, chips and salad, grilled chicken, chips and salad plus 2 x burger and chips and 4 drinks. The food was delicious, (the owners are Turkish and the kofte was particularly good) and the total bill came to 26. Value that can’t be beat. This is a family run establishment and the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, with a really diverse set of customers. It represents everything that is good about W10. Highly recommended.
It is a fantastic, authentic cafe with lots of choices and lovely home-cooked food. We were made to feel very welcome, and it was outstanding value. We will definitely go again.

Outstanding family-owned gem on Golborne St. Not only is the food top-notch and reasonably priced, but the true highlight is the warm and incredibly friendly hospitality extended by the couple who have proudly owned the establishment for decades. Well I have been coming to this cafe for over 20 years now and honestly the only complaint I have is me not being able to come every day. They have a lovely Turkish couple operating it for the past 40 years so they know what they are doing really well as expected. Very nice and respectful couple who are also very funny. Always been open last 40 years non stop which shows the incredible work ethic they both have. I will always come here as it’s the best cafe in the area with many loyal customers. The environment is also really nice and friendly.
I would certainly be a regular here if I lived in the area. Staple delicious breakfast items with no frill. Cozy local restaurant atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious blood sausage and “bubble” (potatoes and cabbage mix).
Nice, authentic and cheap greasy spoon! Food and service were great, owner and wife were lovely and fun, will definitely go again.
